Wakame is grown in the Naruto Strait between the Shikoku and Awaji Islands. Hand harvested from February through April, washed, simmered, trimmed, and dried in a laborious traditional process. From harvesting to packaging, great care is taken to avoid altering nutritional value.
Eden Wakame Flakes are versatile, easy to use, and low sodium. Miso soup is not complete without its happy green flourish, flavour, and valuable nutrients.
No washing, soaking, or cutting is required. Simply place in soup, or soak 3 to 5 minutes for salad. The flaces expand over 20 minutes when soaked.
